"Secretariat - The Fastest Preakness"

This custom-made canvas reproduction from the original painting of  "Secretariat -The Fastest Preakness,"  will come to you at a size of 16" x 20"

The artwork has been hand-crafted by America's foremost fine art reproduction company, Archival Arts, of Baltimore, Maryland, to heavy wood stretcher bars & will ship to you flat.
On arrival, this varnished piece - which replicates the original painting which sold for $5,000 - will be ready for hanging without a frame, if you choose; but should you choose to frame it, you will find countless inexpensive options, as 16 x 20 is considered a 'ready-made' stock frame size.

NOTE:
Canvas Reproductions are produced by shop artisans who print them individually and then carefully stretch & staple each, tightly, to wood support bars.  They then apply varnish to the canvas and lastly, build a custom box in which to ship the canvas piece to you.
My quick cellphone camera photos of it here do not do justice to the actual canvas. I just wanted to put you in the ballpark by showing the wood stretcher bars on back, the depth off of the wall and the texture of the canvas weave.  They're pretty cool.

Turn-around time on custom canvas print orders is 6-10 days.

Secretariat

1973 Preakness Stakes

Just fourteen days after becoming the first horse to race the Kentucky Derby's "mile and a quarter" distance in less than 2 minutes - Secretariat, with jockey Ron Turcotte, set another Stakes record in the second jewel of the Triple Crown.  The pair covered the one-mile & three-sixteenths distance of the Preakness in 1:53 flat.   As the original Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, Maryland came to a close in 2025, Secretariat's Preakness has been recorded as the fastest in the track's 154 year history.
